Four dives a day. 80+ sites.
We run four boat dives every day from our dock in Half Moon Bay. That's a morning two-tank trip to the walls for Advanced divers, two afternoon single-tank dives for all certified levels, and night dives available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You wake up, grab a coffee on the deck overlooking the bay, and you're on the water. The reef starts a short boat ride away. Dive groups are kept small. Your guide knows these sites well enough to take you straight to the good stuff.
Already certified and looking to explore? This is Roatan. Show up, strap in, and get wet.
We sell out several days ahead. Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are strongly encouraged. Book online here or contact us directly.
9:00 AM
Two-tank advanced morning trip
The morning trip is designed for PADI Advanced Open Water certified divers, or anyone with sufficient logged experience at depth.
Every morning we head to a different pair of sites in the Roatan Marine Park. The first dive typically runs along sheer walls, down to wrecks, or into current — with a maximum depth between 24 and 40 metres/80–130 feet. Dives are 60 minutes or longer.
We take an hour surface interval on the boat, heading to the next site while you dry off and grab some cold water. The second dive is in the shallows: swimthrus, caves, and coral beds above 18 metres/60 feet.
Sites we visit include the walls off West End, Spooky Channel, The Maze, and Texas Reef, among others.
1:00 PM & 2:30 PM
Single-tank afternoon dives
Both afternoon dives are open to certified divers of all experience levels, with a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet. Beginners, newly certified Open Water divers, and experienced divers who want a more relaxed dive are all welcome.
These dives run in the shallower reef zones: coral gardens, smaller walls, and sites with plenty to see without going deep. Your guide briefs the site before you go in.
The 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM trips run as separate boats. Two chances to dive in one afternoon if you want them.
Tuesday & Thursday
Night dives at sunset
Night dives are available for groups of four or more on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with an additional $10 per person on your dive fee. Other weekdays can be arranged on request.
The boat leaves at sunset, bound for a shallow site nearby. Octopus, lobster, and crabs are easy to find after dark. On clear nights, look for bioluminescence in the water. The "string of pearls" is worth turning your torch off for.
If your group wants a weeknight other than Tuesday or Thursday, ask when you book.
When the West Gets Rough
South shore backup plan.
West End diving is calm the vast majority of the year. Flat seas and clear visibility are normal. But from October through January, the odd swell makes the west side unsuitable.
When that happens, we bring our boats around the point to Flowers Bay on the south shore. It's a seven-minute drive from the shop to our dock space there. Same crew, same boats, same quality of diving — just a different set of sites.
If you want to dive, we'll find a way to get you wet. That's how it works here.
Roatan is home to over 95% of all known Caribbean coral and fish species. The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest barrier reef in the world, runs directly past this island. Every dive turns something up.

For Heavy Breathers
We carry 15L tanks.
Standard aluminium 80 cf / 12L tanks are what we use for most dives. If you know you burn through air faster than average, ask us about 15L / 100 cf tanks when you book. We carry them and we'd rather you tell us upfront than surface early. Nitrox is also available for certified divers — it's a good option for the multi-dive days.
